Network Marketing Home Business

The network marketing home business is exploding on the Internet more than ever before. There are some very good reasons for this explosion, too.

Earlier network distributors were those people who were recruited by their friends, colleagues or family folks. They were provided a distributor start up kit by their sponsor and became an independent multi level dealer. The only advice that the sponsor gave was to get as many people in the downline as quickly possible.

The main incentive with multi-level marketing/network marketing home business is the residual income to be made from getting commissions from everything that your distributors under you sells. MLM was big business before the Internet came along and it’s one of the biggest industries today because of it.

The reasons for MLM’s growth are the new age marketing strategies. Earlier the market strategies involved talking to everyone about the opportunities offered by your company. However, this meant that some people listened and some people did not since not everyone is interested in being a network marketer.

After alienating almost your entire family about your network marketing home business, you would then call people you had never even met before from lead sheets. Cold calling strangers throughout the day to get new distributors under you either made you tough or you would eventually fold your hand and give it all up. Let’s face it, not everyone is going to share your vision or enthusiasm with network marketing.

When MLM became an online business, a lot of things changed. The phrase “network marketing home business” took on an entirely different meaning. Today, there are thousands of MLM companies that use the Internet. These companies usually have hundreds of thousands of marketers that are making incredible amounts of money. This income coming from MLM marketing has allowed many independent distributors to have a continuous flow of money.

The MLM industry has exploded online because more people than ever before can safely shop online and get products from the independent distributors.

The network marketing home business model has begun to attract many individuals into becoming distributors because they are their own bosses and all work can be done from the computer. This allows a great sense of independence. One of the main advantages of online marketing is that marketers can really target those who are interested in the company and those who will take business opportunities.

Internet marketing techniques allow the network marketing home business owner to get targeted traffic that is interested in the product and the opportunity. No longer do you have to cold call prospects from lead sheets that are old and recycled. Online, you can reach hundreds of thousands of people to market all over the world, 24/7, without ever having to even leave your house!

Another advantage concerning the network marketing home business is that the business really is a network of other people you are constantly working with online. You can sponsor hundreds of others in your downline and are able to stay in touch with everyone over the Internet. You can have daily, weekly meetings with your company and downline to insure that everyone is updated and on the same page with campaigns, etc.

A new entrant who has become a distributor under you can be taught the marketing techniques by examples of other people’s success and marketing methods employed. The tools and methods are simple enough to learn. It will just be a matter of few days till your downline distributor starts generating his or her targeted traffic.

The advantages of the network marketing home business has never been more appealing than it is right now. It is a multi-billion dollar industry that just keeps soaring.

Market Your MLM Business: Use Funded Proposals Properly

If you have an MLM business, no doubt you’ve heard of funded proposals. These are systems to generate cash that you can use for your marketing budget to generate more recruits for your main business.
Here’s how it works. You sell a product, a training series, DVD or e-books by sending out sales pitches to prospect, usually via an autoresponder. Typically, the materials you sell would be attractive to someone already in the MLM business or thinking about getting into it. The idea is that anyone willing to shell out their hard earned cash to learn about an MLM business would be your perfect recruit.
Your job is to use those sales as a way to recruit more people into your business. Most funded proposals give entrepreneurs a sales pitch that can help you recruit more people for your downline—and anyone in the MLM business knows that having a good, solid downline is the key to a successful MLM business.
Funded proposals are marketed to MLM owners as a way they can generate cash, even from people who do not ultimately sign up for their business. The MLM owner is urged to dedicate that money to advertising and marketing efforts that they might not be able to afford if they weren’t getting that money from the funded proposal.
These programs do work and do generate money. But the key to making them work as they were intended to work is not to get overly excited about the small amounts generated by the funded proposal sales and keep your eye on the prize—your main businesses.
The idea of these funded proposals is not to sell DVDs about MLMs, but to grow your downline by signing up recruits. That’s where the real money is. The problem, however, is that the typical MLM business doesn’t necessarily grow as fast as the owner wants it to. There isn’t that instant gratification of selling that training DVD, which is where some MLM owners are dropping the ball. Some MLM owners concentrate so much on selling the products from their funded proposal, they let their main business dwindle to nothing. It’s sort of like that old saying: “throwing the baby out with the bath water.”
If used as intended, funded proposals can not only generate extra money, but they can also be used to grow you business. For example, not every MLM owner has the money to market their business. Marketing your business properly can be expensive and the returns may not be immediately visible. However, anyone who is serious about their MLM business must spend money on it. Talk to any brick and mortar business owner and they will likely have a portion of their budget set aside for advertising and marketing. Why should an MLM business owner treat their venture any differently?
Funded proposal can give the MLM the ability to step into the next level of business—but you have to be smart, spend wisely, and keep your eye on the main prize.

Comparing MLM Payplans

Before anyone starts an MLM business, one should consider the various compensation plans available from the 1000′s of MLM Companies. It is important to know when, how much, and how often one would get paid. There are numerous compensation plans available, however only the most important will be covered in this article.

By far, the simplest compensation plan to comprehend is the uni level. For the most part it goes 5 to 6 levels in depth paying a certain percentage on each level. You may sponsor as many people you want on your 1st level.

The matrix compensation plan takes the uni level plan to a different level. It does this by limiting the amount of reps a distributor can have on their 1st level. Once you sponsor more than the allotted amount on your 1st level, the rest go under you in the next available open slot. This is called spillover.

More and More recently the 1up and 2up MLM compensation has been used to create quick and large profits. A distributor can make ALL the commision on the product sold. There is no commission paid on levels which allows this. Once a person has qualified by making their 1st or 2nd sale and passing all that commission up to the next qualified person, they now make the whole commission for themselves on any subsequent personal sales and those unqualified beneath them. It is possible to be paid on infinite levels, however since there is no monthly requirement to order product, the system is reliant on bringing  new sales or distributors in.

Some very successful companies use the binary payplan. What happens is that you get 2 legs to build…..stacking people one on top of another. This seems great, using the concept of teamwork to the maximum. The problem lies in the fact that you generally get a lot of help from your upline to build the 1st leg……but NO help to build the 2nd. Since the legs must “balance” against each other; for instance 6 sales in leg 1 and 3 sales in leg 2 to get paid……you get a lot of sales in leg 1 and no sales in leg 2 which means NO money paid to you. You guessed it….a lot of people quit this quickly.

I only mention Straightline Powerlines because this MLM compensation plan is gaining in popularity. It seems so attractive…….just one straight line down, each distributor on top of another. Wow……what teamwork! The problem is that the requirements to get paid are so outrageous, you make very little money. The author STRONGLY discourages you from participating in one.

Some time ago, the largest MLM companies used the stairstep breakaway plan. This type of MLM compensation plan produced some of the largest incomes in the MLM Industry. Checks of 2-300,000 dollars monthly and larger were being paid out. Somehow this type of MLM compensation plan was relegated to the scrap heap. This is my favorite type of MLM compensation because it simply pays the most over time. You make an escalating percentage on your group and personal volume sales, sometimes as high as 40%; and you make breakaway money on those who have gotten to the highest point in the payplan based on their group volumes thru more descending levels.

I realize this is a simplistic explanation of MLM Compensation plans. Many plans have variations and other added bonuses to make their MLM company plan special. Choose the one that is best for your circumstances.

The truth is, home-based MLM businesses can work. It simply takes time and careful research to choose the right one. Avoid the problems discussed in this article and you will be sure to find the MLM home business for you.

Is Internet Network Marketing Sponsoring Difficult?

“Am I required to know and enroll a lot of people in an MLM program to be successful?” is a commonly asked question.

The typical answer from most upline sponsors goes something like the following…

“No, you can create a great residual income and become very successful in Multi Level Marketing by sponsoring just one person every month or two.

They go on to say that the people you sponsor do not have to be from the group of people you already know (commonly called your warn market).  They tell you to think about how many people you run into in your everyday activities!

Try this: sit down with a pen and a sheet of paper and write down the names of EVERYONE you know, have known, have done business with, etc.  You will be amazed by the number of people you come up with.

Will all or even most of these people join you in your Multi Level Marketing business? Probably not, but statistics show that one out of every one hundred names will make your car payment, one will make your house payment and one will retire you!

So, three out of every one hundred isn’t too bad!  Also, realize that the people on your list also know other people, and will quite often refer you to others that might be interested in joining you in your endeavor!”

However, there is one flaw in this whole process and that is that you have to be willing to be rejected by 97 people.  That is a lot of rejection and most people will not last that long.  And initially these are people you at least know, so the rejection is even more difficult to accept.

Do you know a number of people who would be willing to approach one hundred people and get rejected by 97 of them over and over again?  If you do, terrific, go sign them up today.  However, most people will not continue trying to sell or recruit to a disinterested, unwilling or hostile market.

If you are fortunate enough to sponsor a person who is currently a seccessful multi level marketer with requisite skills, who brings along his established downline with him and becomes a “heavy hitter” in your company, then technically the answer given above can be correct.  If your company’s compensation plan is supportive, then that single recruit may be able to carry you along.

It is extremely unlikely that you will be able to recruit a “heavy hitter” who can quickly go out and create a significant downline below you if you are only recruiting “one person every month or two.”

So, are there any options if you do not wish to face massive rejection and the likelihood of your landing a “heavy hitter” early in your Network Marketing career is extremely low?

The trick is not to go out pursuing people trying to get them to purchase your products or join your program.  That will only get you membership in the NFL (No Friends Left) club.  Instead, entice the ones that are really interested to come to you.  And then, bring them into your company with a soft sell approach instead of the more tradition hard sell.

“So, how do I achieve that?”, you ask.

Well first you have to get their attention and interest by offering them something such as a free report or preferably a funded proposal that is relevant to your market and getting them on your mailing or contact list.  Then, once they are members of your list, you develop a relationship with them by providing them frequent free useful information relative to your product, company, the MLM industry, salesmanship, or marketing, etc.  In their eyes you will quickly become an authority figure.

If your market has been correctly identified, you will soon find that prospects will call you looking for guidance and asking how to join your program.

Key Factors to Look For in Network Marketing Company

The first most important thing you should look for in any company you work with is to make sure it is a legitimate company. There has been many business scams around the world and you dont want to fall victim into any of them.

Apart from that, there are still many guidelines that you should go by to make sure you are working with a company that is going to provide for you month after month, year after year of Residual Income Program that are usually offered by multi level marketing company.

Here are some of the basic things to look out for in a network marketing company:

1. Stability of the Company?

First, you want to make sure that the company you are working with is stable. There are many “mom and pop” start-up companies these days that are run from a garage. They are usually easy to spot – but not always. Make sure to do your research on the background of the company that you are considering such as their experience in the field and the number of years the company has been in the business.

2. Product Attractiveness?

To succeed in mlm, the company must offer an attractive product that is in high demand and that people can use regularly so that it can bring you potential residual monthly income.

3. Is It Easy To Sell?

An attractive product may not be easy to sell, this can be due to the pricing. Is it affordable? Is is easily transported? Products that are huge in size can be troublesome to bring around or even become costly to be delivered to customers. Are you provided with enough training materials to help you with the marketing and selling of the products?

One very good example of an easy to sell product from a popular multi level marketing company online is Global Domains International Inc where the product package consists of domain name, hosting and email accounts which are in demand, easy to sell and at an affordable price of only $10.

4. The Initial Investment?

Becareful of schemes that have a high upfront investment or those with high minimum payouts. Do you have to stock the products? Do you have to pay expensive monthly subscriptions fees? Do you have a minimum target to achieve annually? These investments can add up and can become a burden to your business.

5. The Compensation Plan?

How do you get paid? How much potential income will you earn? How many levels of downlines will you earn income from? Is it comparable to your initial investment? What is the potential return on your money invested in this network marketing business?

These questions will help you choose a suitable network marketing to work with and ensure that you will get a good return on investment in the network marketing business.
